Abbotts budget was extraordinarily inequitable attempt to repair the budget, offending the egalitarian streak that still runs deep in the Australian psyche.
Low income families were hit hard, the middle class even harder, sole parents hardest of all. The incomes of the wealthiest 20 per cent of Australians were largely protected, declining by just 0.2 per cent.
Will Turnbull continue the economic madness he went along with as a minister ??
Will he return the funding to ABC and SBS ?
Will he reverse the Budget attacks on living standards ??
