TWU members at Hymix have kicked off their EBA campaign today with a 24 hour stoppage – showing solidarity and the strength to take on the company.
These drivers mean business and their TWU is standing strong with them.
The company has offered the drivers an EBA which does not meet their demands, which are reasonable and basic: a living wage to provide for their families, decent working conditions, and EBA provisions to protect their job security and right to a dignified retirement.
Drivers rolled up at the company’s head office today together with TWU officials and held a mass meeting, a Barbie and a press conference out the front.
