NSW: Lessons from SA Victoria and Queensland

After Qld, maybe we really can dream about banishing the inequality-exacerbating, fossil-burning troglodytes from NSW as well; but voters really need to get a line on Baird, the motorway-building, privatising ex merchant banker, in a hurry and the press is, so far, giving him a rails run.

A renewed focus on Newcastle doings would certainly help, but it looks like the impending election might come before ICAC's Operation Spicer is concluded, the government's appeal against the rail closure court decision is decided, and the upper house select committee's final report into Newcastle "planning" is published.
Likewise, we need a Vic-like clamour over WestConnex - the evil twin to Vic's now utterly discredited EastWest Link.
If only the press devoted half the time to policy that it devotes to internal party machinations and political gamesmanship.
