The "Stop WestConnex" petition has now got well over 10,000 signatures thanks to the hard work of many volunteers! It is scheduled to be tabled and debated in parliament at 4:30pm on Thursday November 19th. This will be an opportunity for MPs who oppose WestConnex to relay the community's concerns about the tollway, as well as an opportunity for all of us to witness the debate in the public gallery.
Before the debate, we are planning to rally near parliament at 3:30pm at the corner of Martin Place & Macquarie St - please RSVP here so that we know how many people to expect. If you're planning to enter parliament, please be aware that you will not be allowed to enter parliament if you are wearing campaign t-shirts or messages.

Great to see support from BMUC. $15.4 billion better spent on jobs and public transport for western Sydney.
