Leichhardt: Stop Westconnex Public Meeting 16 June

Location of a proposed massive toxic exhaust stack for WestConnex in Ashfield. Across Parramatta Rd from Bunnings. This is the intersection point for six toll tunnels. There are no safe limits for the carcinogenic particles which will be spewing from the stacks and exit ramps for  these tunnels.

What can you do?
Write to your local MP to let them know why WestConnex is not the answer to a Sydney we all want to live in, and ask what HE/SHE is PERSONALLY doing to STOP WestConnex and to promote PUBLIC TRANSPORT investment instead.

Great to see you guys pick up this event. If workers from the Blue Mountains want to commute east, then WestConnex won't make it easier. It will delay expansion of the public transport network through misdirection of funds.

Do you think you could pass a motion in your next meeting to oppose WestConnex and call for a parliamentary enquiry? Three local councils have done so already.
