Unions NSW: Sydney May Day March 2016

For more than 125 years May Day has been a day when Australians remember the victories of the past while preparing for campaigns ahead.

Join us as we send a clear message to the Turnbull Government that we stand in solidarity with each other in this crucial election year.

The Liberals and Nationals want to attack the workplace conditions we’ve fought so hard to win. They want us to work for less, pay more tax by increasing the GST, destroy our superannuation, dismantle universal healthcare and cut funding to education while increasing university fees.

We all need to join together to ensure we have a future that matches our aspirations.

The May Day march will be followed by a family fun day full of rides, food stalls, singing, dancing, laughing and above all else community solidarity.

We hope to see you there. RSVP now.

Yours faithfully,
Mark Morey
Secretary
Unions NSW

PS: Can't make it on the day or want to celebrate at home or in the office? We've set up a resource centre with posters and images to share on social media that you can access here.
