First it was those in pubs and in shops.
Now – clubs workers are in the sights of greedy bosses wanting to slash weekend rates.
Working in a club is special. Clubs Australia, among others, always claims clubs are an essential and unique part of community life.
But right now, Clubs Australia is pushing to abolish the Clubs Award.
What that means is, if successful, 1000s of people will be moved onto the Hospitality Award, meaning a massive cut in their weekend and public holiday rates.
