TWU: KOREAN UNIONS ARE UNDER ATTACK

KOREAN UNIONS ARE UNDER ATTACK

Truck drivers working for Korean food company Pulmuone continue their fight to join their union, the KPTU. KPTU offices have been raided. At least 8 workers, including their lead negotiator, have been arrested and are being detained indefinitely.

Korea's Government are attacking a combined campaign of Korean Unions to raise labour standards for some of the country's poorest workers.

This attack on the rights of Korean working people must stop!

Since we last protested the government and police have stepped up their attack on drivers and unions in Korea. Together we have to show that this brutality and attack of fundamental unions rights cannot be tolerated.

Join us in solidarity with the KPTU and Korean Unions. Help us demand the Korean Government take action to protect the right to be union.
