Demand Full Gonski

Gonski will make a world of difference to our kids.

The Gonski agreements already signed will see an extra $5 billion flow to NSW schools, an extra $191 million to ACT schools, an extra $656 million to South Australian schools, an extra $400 million to Tasmanian schools, and an extra $3.7 billion to Victorian schools.

Negotiations in Queensland, the Northern Territory and Western Australia have been suspended as the federal government goes into caretaker mode for the election campaign.

Here is a school by school breakdown of extra Gonski funding for WA, QLD, Victoria, the Northern Territory and Tasmania (figures not yet released for NSW, SA and the ACT).

A federal election has put extra Gonski funding for every state and territory at risk.

Tony Abbott's plan for schools would deliver only one third of the extra funding that has been set out in the Gonski agreements already signed, and in the proposals still before QLD, NT and WA.
